Code of conduct

We are committed to fostering an environment where every dancer feels safe, respected, and welcome. All participants—regardless of race, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or ability—deserve a space free from harm. Any form of disrespectful conduct, whether verbal, physical, or non-verbal, including harassment, sexual harassment, sexual assault, discrimination, or retaliation, will not be tolerated.

If behavior arises that violates these principles, we will respond promptly. Consequences for inappropriate conduct will be determined by the Ithaca Tango Weekend organizers and may include immediate removal from the event, notifying the broader tango community when appropriate, or contacting law enforcement if necessary.

If you experience or observe any form of harassment, please reach out to the event host as soon as possible. You may also report concerns privately by emailing info@ithacatangoweekend.com. All reports will be handled with discretion and kept confidential.

By attending Ithaca Tango Weekend, you agree to uphold and abide by this Code of Conduct and accept the terms of the liability waiver.
