There’s no formal path to becoming a tango DJ—each arrives with their own story, shaped by curiosity, passion, and countless hours on the dance floor. A bio can offer a glimpse, but the real introduction happens through their music: the atmosphere they create, the emotions they spark, and how they move you.
With that in mind, meet our DJ team—and let their tandas tell the rest.

My DJ philosophy is simple: let the music speak, create a clear flow, and keep dancers looking forward to the next tanda.
Traveling and DJing around the world has taught me a lot. I’ve learned from DJs across different cultures, compared their approaches, and found that the core principle is pretty straightforward—build a comfortable, engaging atmosphere. I do that by blending well-known golden-age favorites with lesser-known gems that match the mood and energy in the room.
Outside of work, family, and dancing, I continue to study tango music and share my reflections in TangoDJ Secrets. Whether it’s worth reading—I’ll let you decide.

When I attend a milonga, what I expect from any DJ is a set that respects the music, the energy, and the dancers. As a DJ, this is what I aim to provide.
I started DJing in 2017 at praticas and milongas in and around my hometown of Rochester, NY. Since then, my DJing has taken me across the US, including Canada and Europe. When I DJ, I focus on simple things: Coherent and carefully crafted tandas, good sound from quality sources, and a flow of energy and emotion that keeps you dancing all night long... tanda after tanda. I simply believe in playing good music and letting the magic happen.

From my first tango day I was excited about the music. And so the way from dancing to music collecting and DJing was natural. An evening as a DJ is always a new, unknown adventure for me —just like every dance. I love all the good classical tangos with temperament and passion, but I also appreciate the modern orchestras with new forms of expression in our time. For me, the most important thing is that the dancers have fun on the dance floor!

My passion for teaching, dancing, and DJing is fueled by this deep conversation that tango has started inside me years ago. Moved not only physically, but also intellectually and spiritually, I quickly understood that this dance would stay with me for most of my life. As a distinctly musical dancer, I draw my tango selections from a high-quality repertoire focused primarily on Golden Age tangos. I arrange my tandas with careful balance, as well as a narrative concern, always keeping the dancers’ creative and emotional experience in mind.
